Italian Technical Death Metal Masters AYDRA Sign With Rude Awakening Records; “Icon of Sin” Reissue Coming Shortly

RUDE AWAKENING RECORDS is glad to announce the signing of the Italian legendary band Aydra.

AYDRA, pioneers of Italian technical death metal, formed in 1985 evolving from thrash roots into an increasingly complex and aggressive sound. After the acclaimed “Icon of Sin” (1999) and “Hyperlogical Non-sense” (2004), the band returned in 2024 with “Leave to Nowhere” - a powerful, modern concept album marking the definitive resurgence of their technical fury.




RUDE AWAKENING RECORDS will release the definitive CD reissue of “Icon of Sin,” remastered and expanded with four exclusive bonus live tracks.

Sardinian Blackened Death metallers SHARDANA join the roster of Rude Awakening Records

  SHARDANA , the blackened death metal band from Sardinia, Italy, is proud to announce that a deal has been inked with Rome-based label Rude Awakening Records . The deal regards a new album, the release date of which, as well as other details, have not yet been revealed. The band debuted in 2010 with a self-titled EP, followed four years later by the self-released full-length No Cadena, No Presoni, No Spada, No Lei. The latest effort is the full-length Milli Annos (2020, Rafchild Records).  SHARDANA was formed early in 2008 with the intent of creating a metal band with epic and battling sounds, merging Heavy Metal with Black and Viking influences. Funeral doom metal behemoths HUMANITY ZERO are considered one of Greece most obscure and sinister acts today. Formed in 2003 by Dimon's Night as a death metal band, they were best known for their primitive brutality and paradox melodies.   After two demos, one EP and three full-length albums HUMANITY ZERO began to create more complex, slow and macabre music. Their fourth album "Withered In Isolation" marked a new death/doom direction. Founded in 2000 and hailing from Calabria (Italy), the renewed five piece act will return this summer with a brand new album that will follow the 2021 EP "Maximum Overdrive".
