“Italian Thrash Relics" - official presentation at "Noisy Hours"



“Italian Thrash Relics – Vol. I”, available since May 1st 2016 both in digital and in CD format thanks to Rude Awakening Records and DeathStorm Records, will be officially presented and “explained” (how this split was conceived and realized) the next June 20th 2016, 9 PM at radio show Noisy Hours, listenable by streaming here:


This split shows the “exhumation” of the two demos “De-Industrialized” and “Human Wreck”, respectively by Italian thrash bands Furious Barking and Desmodus.

We remember that this release, and the following ones of this series, will be all limited to 300 hand-numbered copies, unique pieces for the die-hard fans of the Italian scene!

“Italian Thrash Relics – Vol. 1” gets nearer and nearer, so here we come with the last previews of this co-released series, launched by DeathStorm Records and Rude Awakening Records.
After Desmodus, it's now FURIOUS BARKING time with two tracks from the “De-Industrialized” EP (originally released in 1991).

“Italian Thrash Relics – Vol. I” will be as well available for streaming and download by the main digital music providers (Spotify, Deezer, iTunes, Tidal, Rdio...).

HERUKA: a celebratory footage coming soon

    Rude Awakening Records' next release will see the continuation of the collaboration with HERUKA: after publishing their latest full "No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows" last year, the label and the long estabilished Black Metal band from Rome have worked on a celebratory footage of the most recent activity years of the band, that will appear in their next release “Dust from the Deception Sun – A Live Selection from Three Years of Black Metal”. This release will contain an intense filming session, including more than one hour of video material shot at the Boiler Studio (Rome) and songs taken from the latest albums of the band, marking a stable return in the Italian Metal scene: “Deception’s End” (2018), “Turning to Dust” (2019) e “No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows” (2020). HERUKA: “Memorie” out today and “Passacaglia” lyric video

  Today’s the release date set for HERUKA’s third full length, “Memorie”, out on Rude Awakening Records once again. The album contains ten Black Metal songs with Italian lyrics composed in poetic style, on common themes of death and suffering of life. The new album follows the previous full “No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows” two years after its release in 2020 and marks the return to the Italian lyrics also used in their early releases. The band celebrates the new record unleashing a new lyric video: a cover of “Passacaglia della Vita”, a 17th century baroque song often attributed to the Italian composer Stefano Landi and covered by many artists of different styles along the centuries.
