METAL DETEKTOR: signs to Rude Awakening Records, new track online

 



METAL DETEKTOR will be the next band to be released on Rude Awakening Records. Founded in 2000 and hailing from Calabria (Italy), the renewed five piece act will return this summer with a brand new album that will follow the 2021 EP "Maximum Overdrive".


About the next album the band declares: It’s a work that continues to explore the roots of pure Heavy Metal, but at the same time evolves the band’s sound, with more reflective writing and a narrative that becomes more intimate and personal. The album is divided into eight tracks that deal with themes of violence, resistance, pride and sacrifice, highlighting the most complex nuances of human life. The approach to composition is always direct and uncompromising, but with an increasing attention to the emotional construction of each song. “Violence and Pride” is not just a Heavy Metal album, but a reflection about the themes of struggle, resistance and identity. The common thread that links the tracks is the path that starts from suffering to reach awareness and inner strength. The stories of those who rebel, those who fight, those who resist are all different but have the same essence in common: the spirit of those who never give up.


The first single to be chosen from the upcoming record is "Shadowrunner", available for streaming on all the main providers.

SALEM UK: cover, tracklist and first single from “Outer Limits”

Following the signing announcement for Rude Awakening Records, SALEM UK is now ready to unveil the first details about upcoming album “Outer Limits”. This release is inspired by Hull Fair, which takes place in the band’s home town. It is the biggest travelling fair in Europe, officially launched in 1279; it’s a historical event where visitors can find any kind of ride. Each track title of “Outer Limits” has a carnival element and many are named after one of the rides, bringing the carnival theme to the whole album.   EIBON (SGP): cult reissue coming soon, first details Rude Awakening Records is proud to announce a new international collaboration: for its next release the Italian label will reissue EIBON from Singapore, with their cult Black Metal debut “The Garden of Theophrastus”, originally published in 1995.   The new edition will contain a total of 15 tracks with the original tracklist, plus demo versions and the entire 2003 EP “Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey” as bonus tracks. New graphic and remastered audio for this edition, which will be limited to 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide.
