Sardinian Blackened Death metallers SHARDANA join the roster of Rude Awakening Records

SHARDANA , the blackened death metal band from Sardinia, Italy, is proud to announce that a deal has been inked with Rome-based label Rude Awakening Records . The deal regards a new album, the release date of which, as well as other details, have not yet been revealed. The band debuted in 2010 with a self-titled EP, followed four years later by the self-released full-length No Cadena, No Presoni, No Spada, No Lei. The latest effort is the full-length Milli Annos (2020, Rafchild Records). SHARDANA was formed early in 2008 with the intent of creating a metal band with epic and battling sounds, merging Heavy Metal with Black and Viking influences. Historically speaking, Shardana was the name of the Sardinian pirates who sailed the Mediterranean sea in the second millennium BCE.
