  • What is Rude Awakening Records? 

Rude Awakening Records is a DIY label, mainly focused on Metal reissues of any kind.


  • Will you publish my band? 

Interested bands can submit a request by the form in "About-Contact" section. Brand new releases will be selected from time to time for publishing and distribution by Rude Awakening Records.
Everyone who respects these simple rules will get an answer, positive or negative. Wide range (from Classical Heavy Metal to Grindcore), so don't be afraid to ask. Priority goes to bands with technical/progressive/avantgarde sound.


  • How can I order and pay? 

Orders can be submitted by e-mail at rudeawakening.records@yahoo.com or by form in the "About-Contact" section. All necessary data will be provided via e-mail.


  • When will my order be shipped? 


Generally within 72 hours after payment. Remember that your payment must be received within 4 days after the confirmation of your order, otherwise it will be cancelled.
In case of registered shipping option, we'll send a tracking number as well.


  • How much do you charge for shipping?

 

Please get in touch to get custom shipping costs. You can choose between shipping with cases (more expensive) or without cases (cheaper). Registered shipping is not mandatory, but we're not responsible of lost packages if you choose standard shipping.

  • What kind of payment methods are available?

 

PayPal (worldwide accepted), bank transfer (worldwide accepted), PostePay (Italy only).

 

  • I'm not satisfied with my order, will you refund me? 


Refunding is possible only if the products have been damaged during transportation. You will be required to provide pictures of damages and to send back the products paying registered shipping costs.
Only product value will be refunded and, as said before, we're not responsible of losses if you choose standard shipping.
You'll be refunded when we receive the products back.


  • Are unofficial releases available too? 

EVERY cd/vinyl in our catalogue is a legal press (licensed editions may be available too), no bootlegs here.
We'll provide a detailed description of every product in our catalogue, however feel free to ask.

  EIBON (SGP): cult reissue coming soon, first details Rude Awakening Records is proud to announce a new international collaboration: for its next release the Italian label will reissue EIBON from Singapore, with their cult Black Metal debut “The Garden of Theophrastus”, originally published in 1995.   The new edition will contain a total of 15 tracks with the original tracklist, plus demo versions and the entire 2003 EP “Ineffable Prodigious Odyssey” as bonus tracks. New graphic and remastered audio for this edition, which will be limited to 300 hand-numbered copies worldwide. Here’s the revamped cover: A lyric video was made for the track “In the Streams of Undaunted Vile Desire” by YOD Multimedia, anticipating the physical release expected for Fall 2022. HERUKA: a celebratory footage coming soon

    Rude Awakening Records' next release will see the continuation of the collaboration with HERUKA: after publishing their latest full "No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows" last year, the label and the long estabilished Black Metal band from Rome have worked on a celebratory footage of the most recent activity years of the band, that will appear in their next release “Dust from the Deception Sun – A Live Selection from Three Years of Black Metal”. This release will contain an intense filming session, including more than one hour of video material shot at the Boiler Studio (Rome) and songs taken from the latest albums of the band, marking a stable return in the Italian Metal scene: “Deception’s End” (2018), “Turning to Dust” (2019) e “No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows” (2020). HERUKA: “Memorie” out today and “Passacaglia” lyric video

  Today’s the release date set for HERUKA’s third full length, “Memorie”, out on Rude Awakening Records once again. The album contains ten Black Metal songs with Italian lyrics composed in poetic style, on common themes of death and suffering of life. The new album follows the previous full “No Sun Dared Pass Our Windows” two years after its release in 2020 and marks the return to the Italian lyrics also used in their early releases. The band celebrates the new record unleashing a new lyric video: a cover of “Passacaglia della Vita”, a 17th century baroque song often attributed to the Italian composer Stefano Landi and covered by many artists of different styles along the centuries.
